The Attila Family Saga: Vol.1 Forgotten Mexican Gunslingers. This western is set in 1850's California. The family epic begins with the cousins, Rafael, Reynaldo and Hilario Attila. Hilario is the unnamed head of the family, as he is the eldest of the cousins and the most business minded. Rafael is serious, introverted and a man of few words. Reynaldo is the youngest of the trio and the prankster. Reynaldo is also the deadliest of the cousins, second only to Hilario with his "pistola". All are quick on the draw. The inequitable laws of the west are more often than not, defined by the fastest draw and these men can hold their own. The Attilas' "machismo" will not allow them to tolerate an injustice. Being honorable and loyal, these men, with fierce determination will try to bring a semblance of justice to the small town of Chular. These men have inherited their parents' dreams and are not beyond stepping outside of the "law" to protect what is theirs. Yet in the midst of the chaos stirred by their pursuit of peace and justice, love will reach out and claim our heros beginning the next generation.

Rafael and Reynaldo have taken to wearing a tin star in an effort to uphold the tenuous law of Chular. The Attilas have proved their loyalty to the townspeople over and over, and now they will need the help of the townsfolk and friends as they fight to retain their heritage, the Tres Aces Rancho. Paul Plyntherin, an Australian land baron has set his sights on the lush grazing lands of the Tres Aces Rancho and he will have it come hell or high water. Plyntherin's herd is arriving shortly and he will stop at nothing to gain this land. With money to bring the best of the worst to his side the Attilas are calling in all favors to run Plyntherin out of the country. Setting aside their badges, the Attilas, the townspeople, their cowhands and a man of their folklore will met out justice.
